Since my computer doesn't work anymore, I can't post pictures I took over the summer yet, so I'll use this space to show the basis for my portrait project. The artist I'm drawing inspiration from is Anton Corbijn, who primarily shoots musicians, which will also be the focus of my project. I really like the expressions and emotion he can capture and the way that he composes the photo, with or without props. I also like the colors he uses, often choosing a primary color for the photograph and stripping it down to just focus on that color. Henry Rollins, Miles Davis, and Elvis Costello.
